Our Chef serves up a wide variety of seasonal cuisine, taking maximum advantage of regional products. At Casa Colón Gastrobar our menu has been designed to ensure that diners can enjoy several dishes (starter, fish and meat courses), and still have room for dessert (highly recommended).

for those who think Fuengirola is a shabby has-been of a town wit nothing to offer… think again.

There are plenty of stand out eateries, but Casa Colon is THE place to be. My wife says I should not write this as we won’t get a table, but well, good is good.

Try it, you will not be disappointed.

“Avant Garde.”

This is a gastropub that combines very traditional Andalusian style cooking with more than a hint of top end Catalan and Basque style haut cuisine. The tapas menu obviously includes many home based dishes, Iberico Belotta ham, Manchego cheese, Galician mussels in a pickle sauce and an interesting, sublime, scrambled egg with asparagus. Some really fine wines from Ribero del Duoro, including the vibrant Pesquera and the blockbuster Vega Sicilia Alion are available, at a price! It is in a pleasant location behind the Correos, with attentive service, multiple food and wine choices, good quality coffee and the thirst quenching Cruzcampo, all of which combine to make a visit here a memorable authentic Spanish dining and wining experience. It is located in a pleasant square in the centre of Fuengirola, a mere five minutes away from the ever crowded promenade.
